Speech Language Pathologist Opportunity at Lifemark Seniors Wellness

Lifemark Seniors Wellness is a leading provider of rehabilitation services for seniors, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and support. We are currently seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Mississauga.

About the Role

As a Speech Language Pathologist with Lifemark Seniors Wellness, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders in seniors. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote optimal communication and swallowing function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' communication and swallowing abilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders
  • Provide therapy sessions to patients, including speech, language, and swallowing therapy
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
Requirements
  • Registration with the College of Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario
  • Community experience is an asset
  • Availability to work flexible hours
  • A valid Vulnerable Sector screening check
  • Bilingual Preferred
