About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Merle Norman Cosmetics West. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, receive payment for goods or services, and provide change as needed.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain Store Appearance: Ensure the sales floor and surrounding areas are clean, tidy, and well-organized.
  • Support Sales Team: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide product knowledge, and assist with visual merchandising.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail sales experience.
  • Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with regular standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
