Coast Mental Health is a prominent non-profit organization in Canada, dedicated to providing a comprehensive array of innovative services for individuals experiencing mental health challenges. We are currently in search of a Social Work Manager to oversee our Mental Health & Recovery Program. This position entails guiding a team of Social Workers, ensuring the provision of gender-sensitive, trauma-informed support to clients navigating various difficulties.

Position Overview:

  • Supervise and develop a team of Social Workers within the Mental Health & Recovery Program
  • Perform psychosocial evaluations and deliver continuous support to clients
  • Oversee care planning and lead interdisciplinary team discussions
  • Champion clients' rights and independence, while facilitating access to community resources
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community organizations
  • Provide clinical oversight and maintain precise clinical documentation

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work with a minimum of three years of relevant experience
  • Current registration with the Board of Registration for Social Workers
  • Valid First Aid Certification and other pertinent qualifications
  • Proven ability to conduct assessments and collaborate effectively within a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Competence in using computer applications
