Position Overview:
The Social Work Manager will be responsible for guiding a team of Social Workers, ensuring the provision of gender-sensitive, trauma-informed support to clients navigating various difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a dedicated team of Social Workers within the Mental Health & Recovery Program.
- Perform psychosocial evaluations and deliver continuous support to clients.
- Facilitate care planning and lead interdisciplinary team discussions.
- Champion clients' rights and independence, ensuring they have access to necessary community resources.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community organizations.
- Provide clinical oversight and maintain precise clinical documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Social Work with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
- Current registration with the Board of Registration for Social Workers.
- Valid First Aid Certification and other pertinent credentials.
- Proven ability to conduct assessments and work collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with computer applications.
