Job Title: Drywall Installer

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team at Velocity Enterprises Inc. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, applying and smoothing coats of plaster, and ensuring a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install drywall sheets, measuring, cutting, and fitting them to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Apply, level, and smooth coats of plaster to create a smooth finish.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for installation.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in the finish coat, if required.
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects.
Work Environment:

As a Drywall Installer, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, collaborating with other tradespeople to complete projects on time and to a high standard.

Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in drywall installation and plastering is an asset.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Physical stamina to lift and move heavy materials.
