Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Physiotherapy department at Northern Health Authority. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve functional independence and optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform assessments and interventions related to patients' occupational performance in accordance with established Occupational Therapy practices and national provincial college standards.
- Work as a team member under the general supervision of the Lead Occupational Therapist of the OT department, rotating between acute physical/medical inpatient wards and outpatient services.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote functional independence and enable clients to achieve and maintain optimal health outcomes.
- Graduate of an approved program in Occupational Therapy.
- Current registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.
- Eligible for membership in the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
