Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team at Asian Television Network inc. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payment from clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Accounts Receivable: Oversee the entire accounts receivable process, from invoicing to collections, to ensure timely and accurate payment from clients.
  • Review and Analyze Financial Data: Review and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and make recommendations to management.
  • Communicate with Clients: Communicate with clients to resolve any issues or concerns related to payment, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts receivable transactions, including invoices, payments, and outstanding balances.
  • Perform Clerical Duties: Perform general clerical duties, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping, to support the accounts receivable function.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in a private sector company.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Sage Accounting Software, and other accounting software.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a seated position for long periods of time, with frequent use of computer and other office equipment.
