About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Clerk to join our team at BIYORK MATERIALS CANADA INC. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Payroll Processing: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, such as QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
