Senior Director Corporate Communications

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director Corporate Communications to join our team at the City of Windsor. As a key member of our corporate communications team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive corporate communications strategy that showcases the City's vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a corporate communications strategy that aligns with the City's goals and objectives
- Provide strategic advice to senior executives on communications and stakeholder engagement
- Lead the development of communications materials, including news releases, media advisories, and social media content
- Manage and maintain the City's corporate website and social media channels
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement communications plans for major projects and initiatives
- Provide media relations and crisis communications support as needed
- University degree in Communications, Journalism, or related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in corporate communications, with a focus on strategic communications and stakeholder engagement
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communications strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Strong media relations and crisis communications skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
