Family Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Caregiver to join our team at JM. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a family setting.
Key Responsibilities- Household Management: Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for the children.
- Light Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized home.
- Child Development and Education: Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, and help them with homework.
- Meal Preparation and Nutrition: Prepare and serve nutritious meals for the children.
- Transportation and Errands: Take children to and from school and to appointments, and perform other errands as needed.
- Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and comfort to the children, and help them with their emotional well-being.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
- Personal Qualities: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, time management, and patience.
The work environment is a family home, and the successful candidate will be required to work in a live-in basis. The employer provides optional accommodation at no charge.
Security and Safety- Criminal Record Check: A criminal record check is required for this position.
- Language: English.
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
