Master Data Specialist role requires ensuring accuracy, integrity, and consistency of master data to support business operations and decision-making.

Bioriginal, a global leader in nutritional innovation, is seeking a Master Data Specialist to manage and maintain data in key areas such as customers, suppliers, item master data, BOMs and routings.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Business technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related study, and 3+ years of experience in data management, preferably in manufacturing industry.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating, maintaining, and updating master data records in line with company policies and standards.
  • Auditing master data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness, and resolving any data discrepancies.
  • Implementing and enforcing data governance practices to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure accurate data integration across systems.
  • Identifying and suggesting improvements to data management processes to enhance efficiency and data quality.
  • Developing and maintaining documentation related to master data processes, including data standards, procedures, and workflows.
  • Providing training and support to end-users on master data related topics and systems.

Desired qualifications include:

  • Strong Excel skills, experience in SQL and data manipulation languages.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends or inconsistencies.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot data-related issues effectively.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and time management skills.
