Job Summary
Alamos Gold Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Maintenance Planner to join our Engineering team at Young-Davidson. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling mobile maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective mobile maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with maintenance supervisors and other planners to ensure seamless execution of maintenance activities.
- Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, work orders, and equipment performance metrics.
- Conduct regular reviews of maintenance KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEM suppliers and 3rd party labor contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance support.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to mobile maintenance team members as needed.
- Participate in site project meetings as a maintenance representative to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably in an underground mining environment.
- Strong understanding of underground mobile equipment, including CAT LHDs, Epiroc 282 Jumbos, and Sandvik long hole drills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective maintenance plans and schedules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, MS Project, and SAP.
- Highly organized and motivated, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.
