We are a leading food processing company seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Shipper Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods within our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Activities: Work closely with other departments to plan and execute logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Report Preparation: Prepare and submit detailed reports on logistics operations, including inventory management and shipping activities.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve work-related problems, providing technical advice and recommendations to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor junior staff members in logistics operations and company policies.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring that goods are properly stored and tracked.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, inspecting and verifying incoming shipments against invoices and other documents.
  • Supply Chain Management: Plan and coordinate the operational logistics of the organization, including determining the method of shipment and affixing identifying information and shipping instructions on shipments.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in logistics operations or a related field
  • Work Setting: Industrial facility or establishment
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, flexible, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, dependability
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
