About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our growing team. Reporting to the Senior Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for over 1,200 employees across multiple jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full cycle payroll process, including data entry, calculations, tax deductions, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and provincial payroll regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with various departments to resolve payroll inquiries and address employee concerns.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of company payroll policies and procedures.
- Stay informed about changes in employment laws and payroll best practices.
Qualifications
- PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) Certification is required.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Comprehensive understanding of payroll principles, practices, and regulations.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software applications.
