We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Addictions Counsellor to join our team at the Charles J Andrew Healing Centre. As an Addictions Counsellor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals struggling with addiction and substance abuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans
  • Provide one-on-one and group counselling sessions to support clients in achieving their goals
  • Collaborate with clients, family members, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in addiction treatment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience in the field of addiction and mental health is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment
