Installation Specialist

This role will commence as a Technical Support Analyst within our Software Support Team in the Construction Division, providing an excellent foundation for a rewarding career path.

Key Responsibilities

Jonas is in search of a Software Installer. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of software, hardware, and networking principles. They will leverage their expertise to effectively liaise with customers, prospects, and internal teams to ensure successful installations of Jonas products.

The successful candidate will report to the Team Lead for daily guidance and to the Manager of Professional Services for administrative matters:

Quality Assurance

  • Oversee, enhance, and sustain installations to guarantee exceptional service quality.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for all installation-related inquiries within the company, collaborating closely with the Implementation and Sales teams.
  • Utilize strong listening and analytical skills to resolve client and prospect challenges, including networking and hardware issues, data integrity concerns, permissions, performance challenges, and procedural inquiries in a timely manner.

Installation Duties

  • Conduct installations of all Jonas Construction Products at client locations.
  • Develop and execute data utility programs and SQL scripts to rectify various issues.
  • Analyze software, execute SQL queries, and review system logs to identify root causes of problems.
  • Assist in the testing phases of the Construction product.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably within the software sector, is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Advanced Excel, and Database Structures.
  • Familiarity with current Microsoft Windows Operating Systems.
  • Experience in PC networking environments and firewall solutions.
  • Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and meet deadlines.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to mentor others.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and customer service capabilities.
