Job Title: Development Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Director to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our Battlefield Game Ops team, you will be responsible for driving development operations and ensuring the successful release of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute global hiring strategies, talent management, and health initiatives to support the growth and success of our development teams.
  • Manage budgets and schedules to ensure timely and within-budget delivery of software releases.
  • Establish and execute against product release and positive play OKRs, collaborating with product leadership to drive progress and communication.
  • Operate effectively in a geographically dispersed, always-live, multi-product development environment, building team cohesiveness and skill while managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Build a clear business case for strategic investment in Game Ops, aligning with Battlefield objectives.
  • Drive a culture of continual improvement through regular post-mortems and process refinement.
Requirements:
  • Significant software project management experience, ideally with live service release and product health management.
  • Effective asynchronous communication and presentation skills.
  • Agile development approach with focus on prioritized priorities and project management tools.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication in English.
