Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Consultant specializing in Compensation and Working Conditions to enhance our national Human Resources division. In this capacity, you will serve as a key advisor, delivering strategic insights and support on matters related to compensation and working conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer expert guidance on compensation and working conditions, crafting integrated solutions that align with business objectives and organizational values.
  • Identify opportunities for value enhancement and proactively recommend necessary adjustments or improvements.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with supported teams and engage actively in team discussions and client projects as a compensation authority.
  • Lead or contribute to initiatives that involve interaction with senior executives.
  • Oversee the revision or creation of policies and programs, ensuring effective implementation, including the development of communication materials and change management strategies.
  • Conduct comprehensive impact assessments of total compensation and working conditions, collaborating closely with HR, Legal Services, and other business units.
  • Facilitate skills development within the team and the broader HR community.
  • Stay informed about market trends, compensation practices, working conditions, and legislative developments.
  • Conduct training sessions and informational workshops.
  • Assist in the routine operations of the compensation team, including annual audits and compensation surveys.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in compensation analysis and consulting.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is essential for regular interactions with colleagues across the country.
  • Strong organizational skills, results-driven mindset, and pragmatic approach.
  • Critical thinking and persuasive communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and thoroughness.
  • Proficient problem-solving capabilities.
  • Professional demeanor and discretion.
  • Familiarity with Workday is a plus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required.
