About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at MJ.K. Construction Inc. as a key member of our project management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate the activities of subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Operations Evaluation: Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Project Planning: Plan and organize daily operations, including selecting trade subcontractors and preparing construction project budget estimates.
  • Contract Management: Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates, hire and supervise activities of subcontractors, and prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements.
  • Quality Control: Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control, read blueprint, schemas and drawings, and develop and implement quality control programs.
  • Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions, and oversee the analysis of data and information.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports and develop risk management plans.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Setting: Residential construction, commercial and/or industrial construction, and construction site.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Primavera, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Valid driver's license.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure.
