Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

Papa Johns Pizza is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, supervising staff, and maintaining high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to ensure that we have sufficient stock.
  • Manage Budget: Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure that we are operating within our means.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced, and you will be required to work under pressure to meet deadlines. You will be standing for extended periods and will need to be able to lift and move objects as required.
