Restaurant Operations Manager

At SHIVAS DOSA RESTAURANT, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dining establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Budget Management: Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to boost and maintain profits, including determining the cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
- Operations Management: Evaluate daily operations, modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget, and monitor revenues to determine labor costs.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including setting work schedules and conducting performance reviews.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, address customer complaints or concerns, and ensure that health and safety regulations are followed.
- Marketing and Sales: Participate in marketing plans and implementation, negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, and negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
- Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to multitask, and strong leadership skills.
