Exciting Opportunity for a Head Chef

We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to oversee our kitchen operations at Hooters Saskatoon. This role is essential for maintaining our high standards of food quality and service.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes to meet our menu standards.
  • Conduct inspections of kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
  • Manage inventory by ordering supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and assistants to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment inventory.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of kitchen and work areas.
  • Participate in the recruitment and hiring of kitchen staff.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure smooth functioning.
