Position Summary:

The Senior Paid Social Media Specialist is a seasoned professional adept at executing comprehensive social media advertising campaigns. This role demands an in-depth understanding of various advertising platforms, including Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Paid Social Supervisor/Manager in crafting media strategies that align with client objectives.
  • Deliver presentations on strategic plans and performance metrics to clients.
  • Oversee the execution of campaigns, ensuring alignment between strategic goals and tactical implementation.
  • Mentor junior team members on best practices across platforms.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners to fulfill client requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of quality for all client deliverables.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients and various stakeholders.

Essential Qualities of a Successful Specialist:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the nuances of major social media advertising platforms.
  • Ability to convey complex solutions to non-technical audiences effectively.
  • Proactive in identifying potential issues and adopting a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Passionate about data analysis and deriving actionable insights.
  • Clear understanding of client objectives, guiding ongoing analysis and recommendations.
  • Collaborative team player with a positive, strategic outlook.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Paid Social Media buying and planning across multiple platforms for medium to large clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business administration, or communications preferred.
  • Technical expertise in social media advertising channels (Facebook/Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.).
  • Experience in presenting data and insights to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in fostering relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Certifications such as Facebook Blueprint, Twitter Flight School, and Snapchat Certification are advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
