Position Overview

The Senior Paid Social Media Specialist is an expert in executing social media advertising initiatives, possessing extensive knowledge of various advertising platforms such as Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

This role involves direct reporting to the Account Supervisor/Manager, overseeing the implementation of paid social media strategies while ensuring the highest quality of deliverables. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of strategic planning and be adept at analyzing substantial data sets to derive actionable insights for optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Paid Social Supervisor/Manager in crafting media strategies to achieve client objectives.
  • Present strategic plans and performance analytics to clients.
  • Oversee campaign execution, ensuring alignment between strategic goals and tactical implementation.
  • Mentor junior team members on best practices for platform utilization.
  • Collaborate closely with vendors and external partners to meet client expectations.
  • Guarantee high-quality deliverables for all client projects.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and various stakeholders.

Successful Candidate Profile:

  • In-depth understanding of the nuances across major social media advertising platforms.
  • Ability to articulate complex solutions to non-technical audiences, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proactive in identifying potential issues and implementing solution-oriented strategies.
  • Passionate about data analysis and uncovering key insights.
  • Comprehends client objectives and leverages this understanding to inform ongoing analysis and recommendations.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Paid Social Media buying and planning across multiple platforms for medium to large clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business administration, or communications preferred.
  • Technical expertise in social media advertising channels (Facebook/Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.).
  • Experience in presenting data and insights to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Certifications such as Facebook Blueprint, Twitter Flight School, and Snapchat Certification are advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
