About the Role:

The Senior Paid Social Media Specialist is a seasoned professional in managing social media advertising initiatives, possessing extensive knowledge of various advertising platforms including Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

This position reports to the Account Supervisor/Manager and is responsible for the execution of paid social media strategies while ensuring the highest quality of deliverables. The ideal candidate is adept at analyzing substantial data sets to derive actionable insights that inform optimization strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Paid Social Supervisor/Manager in crafting media strategies aligned with client objectives.
  • Present strategic plans and performance analytics to clients.
  • Oversee the execution of campaigns, ensuring alignment between strategic intent and tactical implementation.
  • Mentor junior team members on best practices across platforms.
  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners to meet client expectations.
  • Guarantee the quality of all client deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients and various stakeholders.

  • In-depth understanding of the complexities of major social media advertising platforms.
  • Ability to convey intricate solutions to non-technical audiences both verbally and in writing.
  • Proactive in identifying potential issues with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Passionate about data analysis and extracting relevant insights.
  • Clear comprehension of client objectives, using this knowledge to guide ongoing analysis and recommendations.
  • A collaborative team player with a positive, strategic outlook.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Paid Social Media buying and planning across multiple platforms for medium to large clients.
  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business administration, or communications preferred.
  • Technical expertise in social media advertising channels (Facebook/Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.).
  • Experience in presenting data and insights to medium and large audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects with timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in maintaining productive relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Certifications such as Facebook Blueprint, Twitter Flight School, and Snapchat Certification are advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
