Job Overview:

Affinity Group is seeking a Healthcare Strategy Consultant to develop an 'Advanced Analytics Strategy' aimed at enhancing patient care through the effective use of healthcare data.

Key Responsibilities:

Phase 1: Strategy Development Initiation
  1. Formulate and execute an engagement strategy that includes facilitated discussions and workshops with the executive leadership, clinical and operational leaders, healthcare providers, data users, and essential stakeholders.
  2. Deliverable: Produce an initial document and presentation that encapsulates:
    1. Vision and target end state
    2. Value proposition and use cases
    3. High-level strategy, roadmap, and timelines
    4. Preliminary infrastructure diagrams
    5. Estimated costs
    6. Strategic recommendations
    7. Opportunities for alignment
  3. Secure approval from the executive leadership on the initial strategy document.
Phase 2: Strategy Development Finalization
  1. Facilitate ongoing engagement sessions and workshops.
  2. Deliverable: Finalize the comprehensive strategy document and supplementary materials (e.g., presentation) which includes:
    1. Vision and target end state
    2. Detailed strategy, roadmap, and proposed timelines
    3. Comprehensive infrastructure diagrams
    4. Refined cost estimates
    5. Strategic recommendations
    6. Integration of Measurement Based Care project requirements, solution design, and implementation plan
  3. Deliverable: Create a business case and Initiative Assessment Form (IAF) to support funding requests and grant applications for the overall strategy.
  4. Obtain final approval from the executive leadership on the completed strategy document.

Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in strategy and roadmap development with a focus on data, analytics, and learning health systems.
  2. Proficient in preparing briefing notes and business cases to support funding requests and grant proposals.
  3. Previous experience with Enterprise Architecture, Security, and Privacy is advantageous.
  4. Experience in Corporate Data Analytics Reporting and Evaluation teams is preferred but not mandatory.
  5. In-depth understanding of provincial directives and initiatives related to clinical systems and data repositories, as well as analytic and research environments that are crucial for the strategy.
  6. Proven track record in leading significant clinical change initiatives.

Compensation: Hourly rate of $110.
