About the Role

As a vital member of the OPOR Project Management Office, the Project Lead will report directly to the Program Manager PM CoE. This position is crucial for ensuring effective organization and support for decision-making processes within the portfolio and project disciplines. The role demands a comprehensive understanding of relevant methodologies and concepts.

The Project Lead will collaborate closely with management and project managers to facilitate all project-related activities. This full-time position may involve supporting multiple project managers, directors, and departments, ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Lead will:

  • Coordinate and prepare essential documentation, communications, agendas, and meeting minutes.
  • Manage decision requests and maintain various logs.
  • Contribute to the requirements, risk, schedule, and change control processes.
  • Support the IM/IT Program Manager and project managers in their daily operations.
Qualifications

We invite candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • A degree or diploma in Information Technology, Business Analysis, or a related health discipline, or equivalent training and experience.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in project coordination or administration, preferably in IT or healthcare settings.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with healthcare information systems and terminology is advantageous.
  • Certification in IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and/or organizational change management is beneficial.
  • Proven ability to develop innovative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to manage dynamic and complex environments.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of the full project life-cycle.
  • Competency in additional languages is a plus, with a preference for French.
Work Hours

This role involves:

  • Four long-assignment, full-time positions, totaling 75 hours bi-weekly.
  • An assignment length of approximately 36 months, subject to change.
Compensation and Benefits

The hourly compensation ranges from $29.91 to $37.38. Successful candidates may also be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, along with a defined benefit pension plan.
