We are in search of a Manager of Talent Acquisition for our Corporate functions to enhance our national recruitment team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide the development of team members and monitor their progress towards achieving both operational and personal objectives.
  • Drive enhancements in processes and practices with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Assist the team in utilizing systems and technology to provide an exceptional experience for candidates and hiring managers while elevating the quality of talent acquisition.
  • Lead initiatives aligned with the Talent Acquisition and Human Resources strategic plan.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry employment trends and leverage market analytics for informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders to ensure timely recruitment of high-quality talent that meets business needs.
  • Work alongside the internal employer branding team to ensure that talent attraction strategies are informed by their insights.
  • Develop impactful recruitment strategies that align with our hiring objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics to evaluate team effectiveness, inform strategic choices, and refine processes.
  • Engage with the team responsible for the talent acquisition strategy to identify measures that will drive results.
  • Collaborate with other HR functions, including advisory services, talent management, and compensation.
  • Act as an ambassador for our employer brand, supporting initiatives that enhance Intact Financial Corporation's reputation as a preferred employer for top talent.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of seven to ten years of relevant experience, ideally within a complex organization, including three to five years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in recruitment strategies for corporate functions (such as finance, investment, marketing) for professional and managerial roles.
  • Strong communication and relationship management skills.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Capability to adapt and lead change management initiatives.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders concurrently.
  • Analytical mindset: consistently evaluate the best methods to measure outcomes and convert data into actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with Workday as an ATS and HRIS system is advantageous.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is essential due to regular interaction with colleagues across Canada.
