Position Overview

As an Assistant Manager in the Signature Department, you play a crucial role in supporting Desjardins's strategic goals by leading your team and maximizing market opportunities while addressing the needs of our members and clients. You will oversee the strategic and operational management of a dedicated team focused on delivering financial products and services within a specific sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist your direct supervisor in formulating business strategies that align with Desjardins's strategic objectives and the challenges faced by the unit.
  • Ensure the excellence of services and business relationships while managing the member/client experience.
  • Develop and monitor an action plan aimed at achieving targeted outcomes.
  • Establish management and communication practices that foster talent acquisition, team synergy, and effective change management, consistent with Desjardins's core values. Inspire, coach, and motivate your team to enhance skills, increase engagement, and empower staff.
  • Create and refine a competitive and profitable service offering for your sector, incorporating collaborations with other departments to deliver an outstanding member/client experience.
  • Drive efficiency and continuous improvement in processes to enhance profitability.
  • Champion the Desjardins brand and reinforce the organization's community ties.
  • Uphold the cooperative values of Desjardins.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of eight years of pertinent experience.
  • Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Registration as a Registered Representative.
  • Proficiency in French is required.
