The location of the role will be determined based on the successful candidate's preference.

As a Corporate Financing Analyst, you play a crucial role in the analysis, guidance, and prevention related to risk management operations and activities. Your responsibilities include conducting financial assessments of files for the non-retail client segment of moderate complexity, formulating recommendations, and preparing financing packages. You will act as a key resource for financing files and collaborate closely with colleagues and partners involved in these files. Your in-depth knowledge of the business sector and your ability to navigate complex situations will be essential. More specifically, your tasks will include:

Evaluating financing files and providing recommendations that outline the financing conditions, follow-up requirements, and necessary guarantees. Performing variable credit assessments as required. Conducting regular reviews of financing files. Complying with existing policies, practices, and standards, as well as the various laws governing the distribution of financial products and services.

What you bring to the table

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field A minimum of two years of pertinent experience Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may also be considered Proficiency in French is mandatory Capability to analyze market conditions and the external business environment Proficiency in conducting financial analyses Understanding of the characteristics and credit risks associated with major markets: commercial, industrial, institutional, and agricultural Familiarity with products and services for businesses, including those offered by caisses, components, and Desjardins distribution networks, as well as competitors Knowledge of financing and credit management practices relevant to businesses Understanding of the philosophy and operations of a financial services cooperative Awareness of policies, legislation, and standards governing the products and services provided by the business center Familiarity with government business assistance programs Knowledge of service standards Understanding of cooperative values, rules, and operations Action-oriented, with strong business insight, collaboration skills, ability to handle complexity, customer focus, and innovative thinking.
