Billings Farm & Museum is a premier cultural institution dedicated to preserving and showcasing the history and heritage of the region. As a leading outdoor history museum, we offer a unique blend of educational programs, exhibits, and events that engage visitors of all ages.

About the Position

We are seeking an experienced and innovative leader to serve as our Executive Vice President. This key role will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operations of the museum, including education and interpretation, operations and programs, advancement, and marketing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the museum's growth and success
  • Provide leadership and direction to the education and interpretation team, including the development of new programs and exhibits
  • Oversee the operations and programs team, including the management of the museum's retail and food operations
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and public relations strategy to promote the museum and its programs
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Woodstock Inn & Resort and Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historical Park
Requirements

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced professional with a strong background in museum management, strategic planning, and leadership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in driving growth and innovation in a cultural institution.

Additional Qualifications

A master's degree in a related field, such as museum studies or non-profit management, is preferred. Experience in marketing and public relations is also highly desirable.
