The Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team as Executive Vice President. This key role will play a critical part in shaping the future direction of our organization, driving strategic growth, and fostering innovative partnerships. As a member of our executive leadership team, you will work closely with the President/Executive Director and the Woodstock Foundation Board to develop and implement institutional policies, objectives, and priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive institutional growth and innovation
  • Lead the Education & Interpretation team in creating engaging programs and experiences for museum visitors
  • Provide guidance and direction to the external affairs team in expanding relationships with key stakeholders and securing institutional fundraising
  • Collaborate with the Operations & Programs teams to drive operational excellence and enhance the visitor experience
  • Operate at an executive level, maintaining professional confidentiality and discretion
Requirements
  • 8+ years of successful museum or non-profit management experience
  • Proven leadership abilities, including collaborative and team-oriented working styles
  • Demonstrated success in overseeing and delivering strategic objectives over a multi-year period
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, both internally and externally
  • Persuasive and articulate communicator with strong written and public speaking skills
