About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Management Director - Security Technology to lead our Project Management Office (PMO) in Toronto. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of security technology projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Portfolio Management: Lead and manage a portfolio of security technology projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business priorities.
  • PMO Standards and Processes: Establish and maintain PMO standards, processes, and methodologies to ensure consistency and quality across all projects.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive measures are in place to address potential issues.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate and manage resources effectively, ensuring the right skills are applied to the right projects at the right time.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and status reports.
  • Project Performance Monitoring: Track and report on project performance, including budget, timeline, scope, and quality metrics.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO, leveraging lessons learned and best practices to enhance project delivery.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop project managers and coordinators, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education in a related field or work equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of project management experience, with PMO leadership experience within the security technology industry being an asset.
  • Certification: PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
