Key Responsibilities- Project Management Office (PMO) Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight to our PMO, ensuring it operates efficiently and effectively.
- Project Manager Support: Collaborate with project managers to ensure they have the necessary resources and support to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
- Project Management System Ownership: Take ownership of our project management system, including project procedures from startup to final client handover and project closure.
- Best Practices Identification: Identify and implement best practices in project management to improve our delivery capabilities.
- Competitive Advantage Development: Develop and execute a proactive approach to create a competitive advantage for Aiolos Engineering Corporation.
- Project Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of projects with multiple priorities, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Workload Management: Manage workloads within and between projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Project Reporting: Lead project reporting to the management team, providing financial and operational insights.
- Project Manager Development: Develop and coach project managers, including mentoring junior project managers.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with team members, peers, clients, suppliers, and other industry professionals.
- Contingency Planning: Anticipate potential problems and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks.
- Business Development Support: Collaborate with the Business Development team to support proposal activities, including scope definition and cost estimation.
- Procurement Coordination: Coordinate with the Manager of Procurement for all project procurement tasks and plans.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a relevant field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a Manager of Project Management role and 5-12 years of experience in a Project Manager role.
- Certifications: PMP designation.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; focus on goals and objectives; strong business acumen; flexibility, adaptability, and resourcefulness; above-average critical thinking skills.
The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $190,000 per annum, based on experience. Aiolos Engineering Corporation offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a retirement savings plan.
