Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

At Mr. Chips Fish Place, we are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
  • Train Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Estimate Ingredients and Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining the high standards that our customers expect from us.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing a positive experience for all customers.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights into our operations.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, providing management with the information they need to make informed decisions.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment: Noisy work environment, with a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant setting, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with the ability to stand for extended periods.
