About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team at McDonald's Restaurant. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize all food preparation and serving areas, including equipment and utensils.
    • Ensure all surfaces, floors, and equipment are clean and sanitized throughout the shift.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Food Preparation
    • Prepare and package food and beverages for customers, including portioning and wrapping food items.
    • Operate kitchen equipment, such as fryers, grills, and ovens, to prepare food items.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies and inventory in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service or customer-facing role.
  • Skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
