Job Overview

As a Food Service Counter Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our customers at Tim Hortons. Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of our food service area.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: No prior experience necessary; we provide comprehensive training.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and areas, including dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Efficiently clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to ensure a tidy environment.
  • Organize and store dishes in designated areas.
  • Monitor and record the quantities of food utilized during service.
  • Accurately portion and wrap food items for customer service.
  • Prepare, heat, and finalize simple food offerings.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet setups with a friendly demeanor.
  • Restock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure availability of items.
  • Take and process customer orders promptly.
  • Utilize manual and electrical appliances for food preparation tasks such as cleaning, peeling, slicing, and trimming.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in appropriate storage areas, including refrigerators and freezers.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 35 to 40 hours per week. The primary language of work will be English.
