Position Overview

As a Food Service Counter Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring a pleasant dining experience for our customers at Tim Hortons. Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of our food service environment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: No prior experience is necessary; we are willing to provide training.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work areas, including dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Ensure tables, trays, and chairs are cleared and cleaned efficiently.
  • Organize and store dishes in designated areas.
  • Keep accurate records of food quantities utilized.
  • Portion, wrap, and prepare simple food items for service.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet setups with a friendly demeanor.
  • Restock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure availability of fresh items.
  • Take and process customer orders promptly.
  • Utilize both manual and electrical appliances for food preparation tasks such as cleaning, peeling, slicing, and trimming.
  • Receive, unpack, and properly store supplies in various storage areas including refrigerators and freezers.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position requiring 35 to 40 hours of work per week. The primary language of communication in this role is English.
