The Strategy & Innovation unit is dedicated to pinpointing, assessing, and implementing growth and innovation strategies across the organization, emphasizing strategic planning, project management, and ongoing business enhancement through technology.

Position Summary:

Under the guidance of the Strategy & Innovation Manager, the intern will play a pivotal role in advancing MLSE's objectives through comprehensive research, analytical assessments, strategic insight generation, and initiatives aimed at improving fan engagement, enhancing business outcomes, and supporting overall organizational development.

We are committed to the success of our interns through thorough onboarding processes. Interns within the Strategy & Innovation unit will manage projects from inception to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams and engaging with stakeholders throughout the organization. We prioritize mentorship and networking opportunities to support professional growth during the internship.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop engaging Microsoft PowerPoint presentations to convey analysis and insights Assist in the design and formulation of both short-term and long-term strategic initiatives utilizing a data-driven methodology Lead or support the creation of business cases and the execution of pilot projects Prepare and present strategic reports for diverse audiences, including senior management and partners Aid in establishing KPIs and benchmarks for new strategic initiatives Conduct research and provide insights on industry-standard practices within the sports and entertainment sector Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement various initiatives as needed Adhere to the Occupational Health & Safety Act regulations Comply with all internal health and safety policies and procedures Perform additional administrative or support tasks as required

Required Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Analytics, or a related field Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Capable of defining business challenges and initiating research and analysis to provide actionable recommendations Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with a keen attention to detail Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Skilled in multitasking and managing multiple deadlines Positive, team-oriented, and energetic demeanor Previous experience in research and analysis, including modeling and analytics, is advantageous Familiarity with project management practices is a plus Availability for full-time hours with flexibility for event-related work
