Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Intermediate Staff Accountant - US Taxation to join our team. As a key contributor to the growth of our US Tax group, you will be responsible for providing technical project management support on U.S. Personal and Corporate Tax projects. Your expertise will be essential in researching, interpreting tax legislation, and formulating solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the growth of our US Tax group and client management initiatives
- Provide technical project management support on U.S. Personal and Corporate Tax projects
- Research and interpret tax legislation, formulating solutions and providing suggestions
- Bring significant issues or findings to the attention of the Manager or Tax Partner, along with recommendations
- Act as a coach to specific US tax staff, providing support and development as needed
- Prepare all types of US tax returns
- Assist other offices of the Firm as required
Requirements
- A willingness to learn the US tax system and tax return preparation
- Prior experience in Public Accounting is considered an asset
