Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Intermediate Staff Accountant - US Taxation to join our team in Burlington. As a key contributor to the growth of our US Tax group, you will be responsible for:
- Providing technical project management support on U.S. Personal and Corporate Tax projects.
- Researching and interpreting tax legislation, formulating solutions, and providing suggestions.
- Bringing significant issues or findings to the attention of the Manager or Tax Partner, along with recommendations.
- Acting as a coach to specific US tax staff, providing support and development as needed.
- Preparing all types of US tax returns.
- Assisting other offices of the Firm as required.
Requirements
- A willingness to learn the US tax system and tax return preparation.
- Prior experience in Public Accounting is considered an asset.
