About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Staff member to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of our Audit & Assurance team, you will be responsible for conducting audits and reviews of small to mid-sized businesses and non-profit organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits and reviews of financial statements in accordance with Canadian GAAP and ASPE
  • Identify and assess risks associated with financial statements and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and implement audit plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business operations and provide guidance on financial reporting
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and management
Requirements
  • CPA designation (or late stage in CPA program for Intermediate Associate role)
  • Public accounting experience
  • Canadian GAAP and ASPE experience
  • Canadian corporate taxation experience
  • Audit and review experience in a small to mid-sized CPA firm
