About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Restaurant L'Odika Inc. as a key member of our kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas, and organize buffets and banquets to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Cuisine Specialties
  • French Cuisine: Prepare and cook French-inspired dishes, including vegetarian and gluten-free options.
  • Canadian Cuisine: Prepare and cook Canadian-inspired dishes, including vegetarian and gluten-free options.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail in all aspects of food preparation and presentation.
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
  • Standing for Extended Periods: Stand for extended periods, moving around the kitchen and work areas as needed.
Requirements
  • Certifications: Possess the required certifications, including a Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
  • Experience: Have 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the culinary field, or equivalent experience.
  • Language: Be fluent in French, the primary language of communication in the kitchen.
