Job Title: Childcare Assistant

Churchill Health Centre is seeking a dedicated and caring Childcare Assistant to join our team. As a Childcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children at our Children's Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide daily care and supervision to children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Assist in planning and implementing activities that promote children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, adhering to all relevant health and safety guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and harmonious working environment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in childcare and education.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a childcare setting is an asset.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • CPR and First Aid certificates.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate effectively to children, parents, and community.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and represent the Churchill Health Centre in a professional and positive manner.
Working Conditions:
  • May involve lifting and bending.
  • May involve exposure to children with aggressive behavior.
