Job Title: Security Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team at Canam Security Services. As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our security team, ensuring the safety and security of our clients and employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Security Team: Lead and manage a team of security personnel, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to handle various security situations.
  • Emergency Response: Be the point of contact for emergency situations, providing guidance and support to security personnel and clients.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit progress reports, incident reports, and other necessary documentation.
  • Training and Development: Train and develop security personnel in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Ensure all security personnel hold the necessary certifications and licenses, including the Security Guard License.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a security-related role.
  • Work Setting: Various locations.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Youths: Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to create a welcoming work environment.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment.

Hours of Work: 35 to 40 hours per week
