We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Retail Sales Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of shopping experiences and delivering on our purpose of connecting people with the products and experiences that enrich their lives.

As a Retail Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for working effectively with store management to increase retail sales and execute client-driven merchandising that meets the client's expectations. You will engage and educate customers on their next purchase of leading brands in retail, driving sales and brand awareness at major retail locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet client and company objectives by maintaining full distribution on all authorized SKUs
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including store management and customers
  • Sell at store level 'live orders' on multiple clients (over 5 clients) in over 50% of their stores on a monthly basis
  • Increase sales volume through promotional activity, including selling and building displays, creating themes with related items, and making plan-o-gram adjustments when necessary
  • Maintain client objectives by ensuring all authorized client items represented on the shelf have accurate and complete tags and removing un-saleable or out-of-code product
  • Work with clients to authorize items to meet shelf schematic standards and take direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing POS materials for products on shelf
  • Achieve client goals and objectives by effectively managing stores within your territory and executing projects and standards
  • Prepare and make wholesaler sub-group headquarter calls with a minimum of four sub-group calls per month
  • Complete accurate and timely paperwork and reports, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, expense reports, etc.
Requirements:
  • Education Level: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree or 0 to 2 years of experience in Retail, Client, or food broker
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, in order to meet deadlines
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Word, Excel, and Internet usage
  • Mathematical and analytical skills
