At Jump, we're seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Applications Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for providing technical leadership to clients, working closely with our sales teams and marketing to deliver integrated consultative sales experiences.

You'll play a crucial role in translating the value of technical solutions for existing and new customers, leveraging your expertise in civil engineering to drive business growth. With a strong background in engineering services and/or technical sales, you'll be able to support products and projects for municipalities, builders, commercial developers, or consulting engineers.

We're looking for someone who is perfectly bilingual in French and English, with experience using customer relationship management tools, project management tools, and knowledge base tools. Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership to clients, working closely with sales teams and marketing to deliver integrated consultative sales experiences.
  • Translate the value of technical solutions for existing and new customers, leveraging your expertise in civil engineering to drive business growth.
  • Support products and projects for municipalities, builders, commercial developers, or consulting engineers.
  • Collaborate with account managers to provide technical leadership to clients, translating the full value of technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with main technical players and prescribers, such as consulting engineering offices, general contractors, architectural firms, and other stakeholders in the product specification process.
  • Train technical stakeholders through various methods, including content creation, webinars, and in-person or remote lunch and learns.
  • Support the company in introducing new solutions to the market and coordinate the implementation of technology pilot projects to demonstrate the value of our products to various customers.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop new tools and content aimed at helping customers understand products and services.
  • Act as a point of contact for the deployment of technical solutions at the pre-sales stage.
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of customer proposals, such as Requests for Proposals and Requests for Quotes, and various other business development initiatives that require technical expertise.
  • Carry out regular commercial analyzes with key accounts to maximize sales opportunities.
Requirements:
  • BAC in Engineering (civil or structural) or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering services and/or technical sales.
  • Experience supporting products and projects for municipalities, builders, commercial developers, or consulting engineers.
  • Experience with customer relationship management tools, project management tools, and knowledge base tools would be an asset.
  • Perfectly bilingual in French and English.
