Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Heartland Café. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to enhance our culinary offerings.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they are meeting our high standards for quality and service.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to plan and execute special events and menus.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are met and maintained in the kitchen.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience as a chef or in a related culinary role.
  • Proven track record of success in leading kitchen teams and improving kitchen efficiency.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
