Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Canadian Pizza Unlimited. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring high-quality food and exceptional customer service.

Job Summary:
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes.
  • Develop and implement menus, recipes, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment to maintain efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes to meet customer demands.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and organization.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to stay competitive.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment to maintain efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of leading a team to achieve high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
