About the RoleWe're seeking an experienced Underwriter to join our Specialty Solutions team, where you'll have the opportunity to develop a profitable portfolio of non-standard commercial and personal lines business.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze requests for quotes, renewals, and policy changes, and recommend solutions that meet our clients' needs.
- Handle policy transactions, including renewals, endorsements, and cancellations, with precision and attention to detail.
- Collaborate with our underwriters and brokers to develop and foster relationships, assess risks, and provide quotes in a timely manner.
- Support brokers regarding underwriting and rating policies, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional customer service.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Personal or Commercial Lines Property Underwriting.
- Strong knowledge of Excel is an asset.
- No Canadian work experience required, but must be eligible to work in Canada.
